So last minute I've decided to submit a list. Yes, there's only 7 songs in the spirit of this blog. But hey I did it. Maybe I'll do a "B" side with another 7 songs. If you want a CD drop me a comment. Or maybe I'll give that upload thing Tiff was talking about a shot.
So here it is....
1. Toni Braxton – Unbreak my Heart/ 2. Blackstreet – Don’t Leave
These two songs must go together. Why, because in the late 90’s every grad party I went to the DJ played them together. Not really sure why, but it was pretty funny
3. Joe – I Wanna Know
This was me and Lover Boy’s “song” our first time around
4. Lenny Kravitz – Can’t get you off my mind
This song was important to me and spoke to what I was going through in 99. It will always have a special place in my heart as will the person it reminds me of.
5. Incubus – I miss you (Acoustic)
I liked the original. But I LOVED this version
6. Tracy Chapman - The Promise
I made two guy-friends cry by playing this song for them. Granted they’d both just broken up with their girlfriends…. was that cruel of me?
7. The Hard Lessons – Love Gone Cold
Another batch of hometown heroes… I first heard this song at Blowout a couple years back. Sounding like a cross between Bonnie Rait and Janis Joplin, Koko tears it up. She’s my hero

hey did you steal that Bonnie Rait/Janis Joplin line about Koko from me? not hating, it's just the first time i've ever been qouted in print! :)
Sorta I guess. We discussed it at Blowout years ago. You just blogged about it first...so I guess it's a semi-quote. Also, I believe those particular artists have been used to describe her by local rags as well.
